Your details, and what we do with them

What we collect
When you request a desk: your name, phone number, the desk, plan and shift you choose, how you will pay (and the UPI reference, if you give one), a photo of your ID (Aadhaar or college ID), and any message you write. When you check in at the kiosk, we note the time.
Why
To keep your desk for you, to know it is really you at the desk, to check your payment, and to send you WhatsApp messages about your request and your plan: that we received it, that the desk is yours, and a reminder before your plan ends.
Who sees it
Only the library staff, each signed in with their own PIN. We do not sell your details or share them with anyone else. The website never shows your name, phone or ID to other visitors: they only see whether a desk is free.
How long we keep it
Your ID photo is deleted automatically 30 days after we approve or decline your request. Your name, phone, plan and payments stay in the library register, as any library keeps its records.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete your details at any time. Call or WhatsApp us, or speak to us at the desk.
